Return and Refund Policy
At Mercela’s Cake World, we take pride in delivering freshly baked cakes with the highest quality ingredients. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we strive to provide the best service possible. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please review our return and refund policy below.
1. Order Issues & Eligibility for Refund/Replacement:
If you receive a damaged or incorrect cake, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Attach clear photographs of the issue for verification.
Refunds or replacements will not be provided for personal preference issues (e.g., taste,
design variations) unless the cake does not match the order specifications.
If your cake is not delivered within the promised timeframe due to an error on our part, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
2. Cancellation Policy:
Orders cancelled 48 hours or more before the scheduled delivery date are eligible for a
full refund.
Orders cancelled within 24-48 hours of the delivery date are eligible for a 50% refund.
Orders cancelled within 24 hours of delivery are non-refundable.
3. Refund Process:
Once a refund request is approved, it will be processed within 24 hours back to the
original payment method. However, some banks may take 5-7 business days for it to
appear in your account.
If a replacement is approved, a new cake will be delivered as soon as possible.
4. Non-Refundable Items:
Custom cakes and specialty designs are non-refundable unless there is a significant
quality issue.
Cakes that have been consumed or altered significantly from their original state are not
eligible for refunds or replacements.
