Terms and Conditions – for Custom-made cakes
1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of custom-made cakes by Mercela’s Cake
World ("we", "us" or "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Orders and Payment
 A minimum lead time of 5 days is required for custom orders.
 A 50% deposit required to confirm an order (this is partially refundable). The
remaining balance is due upon pickup or delivery.
 Payments can be made via Bank Transfer. Orders not confirmed with a deposit will
be cancelled.
3. Design and Customization
 We strive to replicate your requested design as closely as possible, but slight
variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our cakes.
 Customers must provide all design specifications at the time of order.
 Changes to designs must be requested at least [3 days] before the scheduled pickup
or delivery date and may incur additional charges.
4. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
 Our products may contain allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs. We cannot
guarantee an allergen-free product unless we are informed.
 Customers are responsible for informing us of any dietary restrictions.
5. Pickup and Delivery
 Orders must be picked up at the agreed time and location.
 Delivery is available for an additional fee and subject to availability. We are not
responsible for damages once the cake has been delivered and accepted.
 If running late for collection, customer must inform us with an estimated arrival time.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
 Deposits are partially refundable (we will deduct moneys already spent on material
and or labour towards your Order) there is also an administration fee applied.
 Cancellations made within [3 days] of the event will not be eligible for a refund.
 Refunds are only considered for issues related to product quality, at our sole
discretion.
7. Liability and Responsibility
 Once a cake is picked up or delivered, we are not liable for damages caused by
improper handling, transportation, or storage.
 Cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place (or otherwise instructed upon collection)
and handled with care.
